Meta ads Case Study
How a Dental Clinic in HRBR Layout, Bangalore Grew from 18 to 124 Appointments a Month with Meta Ads
Monthly appointments,18 → 124
Cost per lead ₹387 → ₹266
Overview
Dr. Vishnu Devaraj Urs runs a dental clinic in HRBR Layout, Bangalore. In March 2024 the clinic was booking 18 appointments a month. By the time Ideofy took over the Meta Ads account in December 2024, it had grown to about 40, but leads were expensive and many were not serious patients.
Ten months later, in October 2025, the clinic was booking 124 appointments a month, and cost per lead had fallen from ₹387 to ₹266. Here is what we changed, what happened, and what other clinics can take from it.
The challenge
The clinic had tried running Facebook ads with freelancers from online platforms before. When we audited the account in December 2024, we found five problems:
-
Cost per lead was too high. At ₹387 a lead, the clinic was paying more for each enquiry than many treatments could justify.
-
Too few enquiries turned into leads. People saw the ads but rarely filled in the form.
-
Lead quality was poor. Many enquiries never turned into booked appointments, for couple of reasons, one outside area and cost
-
The creatives didn't work. Ads lacked clear information about the treatment and the clinic, and gave patients no strong reason to enquire.
-
The account structure was messy. Different treatments were mixed in the same campaigns, so Meta couldn't learn who to show each ad to.
What we did
01
Rebuilt the account structure
We split the account into separate campaigns for each treatment, such as implants, teeth whitening, braces and aligners, general check-ups and root canals. Each treatment gets its own budget and audience, so Meta can learn exactly who books which service, and the budget moves to whatever brings patients at the lowest cost.
02
Targeted the right patients
We narrowed targeting to people within easy travel distance of HRBR Layout and to the age groups most likely to need each treatment. [Add the radius used, e.g. 5 km.] Fewer wasted impressions meant more of the budget reached people who could actually visit.
03
Made creatives that answer patients' questions
New ads explain the treatment, what it involves, and why patients should choose this clinic.
-
Videos showcasing the clinic's interiors, advanced dental equipment, hygiene standards, and patient-friendly environment.
-
Before-and-after smile transformation images highlighting the results of dental veneers, teeth whitening, or smile makeover treatments, with patient consent
04
Gave every ad one clear next step
Each ad has a single call to action matched to the treatment: book an appointment, request a call back, or ask a question. No mixed messages.
05
Qualified leads before they reached the clinic
We added qualifying questions to the lead forms, such as the treatment needed and a preferred visit time, so the front desk spent its time on patients ready to book.
Patience in the first two months. New campaigns need time for Meta to learn. We told Dr. Vishnu to expect the first two months to be a learning phase. Results picked up right after that, and kept improving.

What the client says
"Working with the Ideofy team has been a great experience. Darshan helped us bring in new patients through Facebook. After having a bad experience with freelancers on other online platforms, I was hesitant about Ideofy at first. However, they advised me to be patient for the first two months while they trained the ad account and optimized performance. Right after two months, I started seeing solid results. Thank you, team!"

Key takeaways for clinics running Meta Ads
-
Give every treatment its own campaign. An implant patient and a check-up patient behave differently. Mixing them makes Meta's targeting worse and your costs higher.
-
Expect a learning phase. The first two months set up the results that follow. Clinics that switch freelancers every few weeks never get past this stage.
-
Judge ads by appointments, not leads. A cheap lead that never books is the most expensive lead you have. Qualifying questions in the form protect your front desk's time.
-
Explain, don't just advertise. Patients choosing a dentist want to understand the treatment and trust the clinic. Ads that answer their questions get better leads.
