Sold in a year from SEO leads

Our client is a Bangalore real estate developer with more than 15 apartment and villa projects across the city, from Whitefield, Sarjapur Road and KR Puram to Jakkur, Yelahanka and Devanahalli. Their corporate website listed every project, but almost nobody found it on Google.
In about a year, the site reached Google's first page for 14 key searches, including "apartments in Bangalore" (#3), "property developers in Bangalore" (#4) and "villas in Whitefield" (#5). Organic leads grew from 6 to 70 a month, and those leads helped sell 20+ apartments and 7+ villas within a year.
Note on the client: we've kept the developer's name private.
The Challenge
-
No visibility. The site didn't rank for its own category, let alone for individual projects.
-
No leads from search. Organic search brought in about 6 leads a month.
-
A website that wasn't built to rank. Projects weren't organised in a clear structure, pages lacked proper titles and descriptions, and buyers couldn't quickly find what they needed: location, configuration and floor plans.
-
One website, many locations. Each project was in a different part of Bangalore, so one generic homepage could never rank for all the searches buyers actually make, like "2BHK apartment in KR Puram" or "villas in Whitefield".
What We Did
Rebuilt the website structure with the developer's tech team
The old site wasn't organised in a way Google or buyers could follow. We worked closely with the client's development team to revamp it: a clear hierarchy from the homepage to locations to individual projects, clean URLs, and internal links connecting every project to its location and property type.
Targeted the homepage at the developer's category searches
We positioned the homepage for the searches people use when choosing a builder: "real estate companies in Bangalore" and "property developers in Bangalore".
Built landing pages around how buyers actually search
search Buyers don't search for a project name they've never heard of. They search by location and configuration. So we created and optimised landing pages matched to each project, including: •Apartments in Bangalore •Villas in Whitefield, Sarjapur Road and Yelahanka •Villa plots in Devanahalli •Apartments in Jakkur •Properties in Indiranagar •2BHK and 3BHK apartments in KR Puram •3BHK apartments in Electronic City
Optimised every project page
Each project page got a unique title and meta description, clear messaging about the property, and a floor plan for every unit type, so buyers could compare options without having to call first.
Added real buyer testimonials
We worked with the client's team to collect testimonials from families who had already bought apartments and villas. Real reviews from real owners build the trust that big-ticket buyers look for, and give Google stronger signals of experience and trust.
Connected SEO to the sales team
Every enquiry from the website went into a lead-capture dashboard and then into a shared sheet. The developer's sales team called each lead and logged feedback: interest, site visit booked, or not a fit. That feedback loop showed which landing pages brought serious buyers, so we focused our effort on the pages and searches that led to site visits and sales, not just traffic.
